Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. The Berenstain Bears Storybook Bible for Little Ones contains eight Old and New Testament stories with charming Berenstain Bears taking the parts of biblical characters.The large text and colorful illustrations engage and entertain children with simple short-sentence stories of David and Goliath, Creation, Daniel in the lion's den, Jesus'
birth, the Samaritan's account, Jesus entering Jerusalem and the resurrection story, 'He is risen.' While some literary license is taken, such as Daniel petting the lions in the den, the overall stories are biblically accurate.
The padded board book is sturdy enough to withstand wiping down from sticky fingers and strong enoug;h for repeated turning of the pages as the story unfolds, keeping the spine intact.
