Karen Leigh Davis (Roanoke, VA) is a professional writer with more than twenty years of experience, who has written numerous freelance articles for regional, national, and international publications. She is a member of the Roanoke Valley Horsemen’s Association, the Virginia Dressage Association (VADA), the United States Dressage Federation, and the United States Equestrian Federation. She served two terms as a board member for the Southwest Virginia Dressage Association, her local VADA chapter. She has written news and feature stories, reviewed area theater events, and formerly authored a semimonthly pet-care column.
