Joanne Davis is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she oversees the Trauma Research: Assessment, Prevention and Treatment Center. As a clinical scientist-practitioner, she focuses on identifying cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of traumatic experience and applying evidence-based treatments to victims of trauma. In addition to her research and practice, Professor Davis also teaches courses on intervention techniques, the psychology of trauma, and theory and practice of clinical psychology.
