It is with mixed emotions, that I present to you the President of The Unites States, and the unifying speech that he made on January 12, 2011 in Tucson, Arizona. While the whole nation mourned the lives of the innocent victims who lost their lives to, the senseless violence, that seems so prevalent today. Like little Christina, 9 years old, with a spirit so beautiful and precious, and the other innocent Americans who lost their lives. We are all praying for Congresswoman Giffords speedy recovery, and our prayers are with all of the surviving family members of this tragedy. The one thing that President Obama's speech reminded us all of, is that we are all Americans first and when one hurts
or has a loss we all hurt, and we all lose. In this beautiful America, the land I love, this ideal of freedom, burns ever so brightly. A country that affords us the freedom, to have
opposing views, and we must defend that right, with everything in us. The vitriol of the Present, is UN-American and does no one any good, but to fuel an already burning and volatile fire. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, we can agree to disagree, without
being disagreeable.
