Victim of Honor is the story of Captain John Yates Beall, a man of exceptional character and honor, who faces the ultimate challenge to his integrity in the last months of the war. Accused of acting as a spy and guerrilla behind Union lines, he is convicted and sentenced to death. Now, facing death by hanging, will Beall stick to his principals, or will he confess Confederate plans to save himself? Will the Confederate government be able to step in to save him? Or, will he die on the gallows, convicted of crimes for which he may really not be guilty?
