The First book in the “Katy Did Series” A children's book about the adventures of a twelve-year-old American girl, Katy Carr, and her family who live in the 1860s. Katy is a tall untidy tomboy, forever getting into scrapes but wishing to be beautiful and beloved. When a terrible accident makes her an invalid, her illness and recovery gradually teach her to be as good and kind as she has always wanted. The Author modeled Katy on her own childhood self, and the other 'Little Carrs' on her brothers and sisters. Illustrated.
I hope you enjoy this book. When I first started reading books on my Nook Library I noticed that there are many free classics available. However the formatting is terrible and some are unreadable because of errors in the text. Therefore, I decided to start publishing quality classics that included chapter breaks, table of contents, linked chapters, and illustrations when available. Keep your eye out for inspirational stories from us, EirenikosPress.
