Michael Eason is a conservation botanist for Texas Flora, a botanical consulting company. He performs botanical inventories and rare plant surveys on private lands throughout the Chihuahuan Desert ecoregion of Texas and elsewhere, including northern Mexico. Previously he served as the plant conservation coordinator for the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. From 2003 to 2010 he coordinated all aspects of the Millennium Seed Bank Project in Texas.
