About the Author

Kyna Hamill received her M.A. in Drama at the University of Alberta and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Theater History at Tufts University. She is a certified member of Fight Directors Canada and a recognized member of the International Order of the Sword and the Pen. Her research areas include violence as entertainment, feminist theater, contemporary Irish theater and the Italian Commedia dell'arte.
