To begin, Garzilli explains that humans are first and foremost spiritual creatures, that the highest achievable goal is to align with spirit, and that fear, greed, and envy are common reasons for a misalignment. To overcome spiritual misalignment, she writes, requires centering, grounding, and connecting with Spirit—however that manifests for readers individually. In rule four, she advises readers to “forgive mistakes,” explores the mindset that leads to error, and then offers questions to help in releasing mistakes without judgment. She also tells readers that expressing gratitude for everyday miracles—“a meal is a miracle”; “home is a miracle”—opens up everyday experiences that will lead to more, greater miracles; in several other sections she conflates spiritual alignment with material success.
