With more than 14 million books in print, the How Do Dinosaurs... series is a huge hit all over the world.

Humorous paintings of oversized dinosaurs with human parents make this an irresistible book for sharing. And we all know that when parents are ready to say good night, it turns out that sometimes little dinosaurs have other ideas!

Laugh and smile as the dinosaurs try everything to avoid bedtime -- from hiding under the bed, to screaming no! -- and then snuggle in as all the dinosaurs show they really know the right way to go to sleep -- a bath, a story, and a good-night kiss!

Brimming with humor and the familiar antics of this beloved series, here is a playful bedtime board book for every sleepy little dinosaur.

Yolen and Teague return to a subject they covered in their 2000 picture book, How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?, as an unusual group of dinosaurs—concavenator, majungasaurus, and sauropelta, among them—demonstrate how one should and shouldn’t behave at bedtime. A pachyrhinosaurus hides under a bed that’s at least half as big as he is, and a yellow-feathered enigmasaurus wags a claw at its not-so-happy human mom (“Does he scream at his mother that he just won’t go,/ using his favorite words—no no no!”). Once again, Yolen and Teague’s hilarious visions of tantrum-throwing dinos should bring smiles to even the crankiest (and most bedtime-reluctant) kids. Up to age 3. Toddler-PreS—In this adaptation of the popular picture book, Yolen teaches readers about how dinosaurs go to sleep. The familiar illustrations show huge dinosaurs acting just like toddlers and include the proper name for each dinosaur underneath its depiction. The rhyming cadence of the text makes this a perfect read aloud for storytime. It will be difficult to keep this board book on the shelf with Yolen's recognizable name and the popular subject matter. A worthy addition to most libraries.
