Alison Velázquez is a wellness professional and the owner of Soupology, which makes health-focused soups. As an avid cook and certified Pilates instructor, Alison combines her knowledge in fitness and food to help her Soupology clients take healthy habits and turn them into full-fledged healthy lifestyles.
A graduate from the School of Business at the University of Illinois, Alison received her Pilates certification in 2009 and has a culinary arts degree from Kendall College in Chicago. She specializes in wellness or spa cooking, which focuses on the use of seasonal ingredients to create light innovative fare. A vegetarian for almost 20 years, Alison also specializes in restricted dietary approaches including vegan, vegetarian, diabetic, Paleo, low-carb, sugar-free and gluten-free.
