Fredric Brown (1906-1972) was an American short story writer and novelist. In a career spanning the 1930s to the 1970s, Brown achieved success in writing science fiction, fantasy, and mystery. Among his more well-received works are THE FABULOUS CLIPJOINT (winner of an Edgar Award), THE SCREAMING MIMI, ARENA, and MARTIANS, GO HOME.
